Packing List

Note:  This packing list is designed for the California AIDSRide.  If you are using it as a guide for other rides, please be aware that you may have to additional gear suitable for cold climates.


Pack things in 2 Gallon Ziplock bags! - keeps things organized and waterproof.

    Disposable Camera (write your name and rider number on it and put it in a ziplock bag!)

    List of Emergency Contacts
    Lipbalm - SPF15+
    Sunblock - SPF 15+
    Basic first aid kit (Band-Aids, antiseptic wipes, Neosporin)
    Plastic Shower cap
    Extra set of bike cleats and screws

Leg Warmers (1 pair, if you feel the cold in your legs)

Purell Waterless Hand Sanitizer (for use at Pit Stops)
AIDS/Lifecycle 2: swim suit (to bring on bike & use at the Avila Hot Springs on Day 5)
