INFORMATION PACKAGES:
You will receive your confirmation from Shifting Gears and
information about the ride via e-mail. Included will be the
information about the ride and the waiver.
PRE-RIDE MEETING: Thursday, April 18,
2005, 7:30pm
Helen’ Cycles, 2501 Broadway in Santa Monica.
At the meeting you will receive information about the ride,
including where and when to meet on April 30th; the route; what to
bring and how to pack; and where you will be staying. We will go
over safety and what will be provided/available to you on the ride.
You will also meet the ride leaders and volunteers and have the
opportunity to ask questions.
Room assignments at the hotel will be finalized and the waiver and
insurance information will be collected from participants.
You will also have the opportunity to shop at Helen's after hours at
a discount
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY:
Refund requests must be received on or before
Friday, April 8, 2005. All cancellations/refunds will
incur a $25 processing fee. Absolutely no refunds for any reason,
medical or otherwise, will be issued after April 18th, 2005
(pre-meeting date). The ride will be held rain or shine.
TRANSFERS:
If you must cancel after April 18, 2005, you may locate a substitute
rider and submit his/her registration application and a $25 transfer
fee. You must call (310) 588-3555 to make the arrangements and
receive confirmation to substitute a rider.
